ORDER FOR THE PUBLIC WORSHIP of GOD
Trinity Sunday June 16, 2019
Responsive Call to Worship (Psalm 8:1,2)
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength
because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
*Hymn #3 “Holy, Holy, Holy” Nicaea
*Prayer of Adoration
*Affirmation of Faith - The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell;
The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead; I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Children’s Message (ages 3 and Up)
*Hymn #8 “Come, Thou Almighty King” Trinity
Corporate Prayer of Confession with Individual Prayers of Confession
Holy and gracious Father, we confess that we have failed to love You with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Though Jesus prayed that we should be one, we confess that we fail to live in unity with each other and with You. We break our communion through impure thoughts, harsh words, and unkind actions. Forgive our sin and heal us so that we may reflect Your unity and majesty and serve You faithfully all of our days through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Assurance of Divine Pardon (Psalm 103:8-10)
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
Offertory & Prayer of Thanksgiving
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow, Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen
Lesson from the Revelation Revelation 12:1-17 pew Bible pg. 1034-5
Confirm to your servants Your promise, that You may be feared.
Turn away the reproach that we dread, for Your rules are good. - Psalm 119:38,39

New Guests We are so glad you are here worshiping the Lord with us. If you will, please fill out an Information Card found in the back, so we can get to know you a little. These can be placed in the offering plate or handed to a Greeter or Pastor John.
Cry Room/Nursery –Please be assured that we do want your children in Worship with Us. But, we have now equipped a very pleasant, clean & comfortable “cry room” for families with small children to use as needed. It is located at the right of the sanctuary and is equipped with everything needed (including Audio) for events happening in the sanctuary. Entry to the room is gained from inside the sanctuary itself or can be accessed through the library.
Ingram Extra - Please join us immediately after service for some refreshment in the Fellowship Hall. This is an informal time to get to know each other better. During this short-time, we usually hear something practical from Pastor John and are able to share our prayer requests together.
The Lord’s Supper - We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each Sunday at Ingram. All who sincerely trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone, for the forgiveness of sin, are invited to partake. Our custom is to distribute the elements processing forward by rows. When everyone is served, then we will take the elements together. For children not yet taking communion, please bring them forward with you so Pastor John may pray for them. If you believe your child is ready to take Communion, please ask Pastor John about the process.
Church Web-site - Please access our website for information about the ministries of Ingram Presbyterian and for access to past sermons. IngramEPChurch.org
